(Father)</td></tr> </table> </div> ## Backstory Before waitressing at the Deviled Egg, Cherry was the queen bee of the Marlowe High cheerleaders and a previous pageant winner of the Little Miss Marlowe. Raised by her strict single mother Vanessa Ford, she was the embodiment of 2000s femininity — innocent, soft, and delicate. However, after the sudden death of her mother, Cherry found herself lacking a direction to choose for herself. Her best friend Marsha withdrew from her. No one else but her quarterback boyfriend Kyle for emotional support. Her meeting with Aurelian led her to the Deviled Egg, a place to serve meals and distractions from her loneliness. Run-ins with angels and fiends alike revealed to her that she may be less human than what anyone would suspect. Between her mother’s secret arrangements with the mafia and traces of infernal energy in her, mysteries cloud and continue to fog Cherry’s true origins. ## Relationships ### Marsha Liu <img class="relationship-image-small" src="chibi_marsha.jpg" alt="Chibi Marsha">Cherry’s once closest friend who is doomed to kill her if her mother’s prophecy rings true. She yearns for a close friendship like they used to have, talking about magical girls at their middle school lunch table, but feels guilt over the danger Marsha gets herself into because of her. ### Aurelian Feathers <img class="relationship-image-small" src="chibi_aurelian.jpg" alt="Chibi Aurelian">Cherry’s guardian angel (who often is the one that needs saving). She feels indebted to Aurelian who let her into the diner when she was in need, but sometimes abuses the fact that Aurelian’s soft on her to skip her shifts and get away with things to maintain her popularity. ### Kyle Sokolov <img class="relationship-image-small" src="chibi_kyle.jpg" alt="Chibi Kyle">Cherry’s on-again, off-again, now permanently OFF-again ex-boyfriend. Cushy family, football player, himbo. An easy path if she wanted a status quo heterosexual relationship, but she couldn’t see that as her ending. ### Amelia Applegate <img class="relationship-image-small" src="chibi_amelia.jpg" alt="Chibi Amelia">British exchange student who rivals Cherry’s popularity at Marlowe High. Time spent together has led Amelia to fall for Cherry. However, her genuine and quirky personality makes Cherry insecure of the facade she’s built for herself. ### Veronica & Paisley <img class="relationship-image-small" src="chibi_veronicapaisley.jpg" alt="Chibi Veronica and Paisley">Cherry’s cheerleader groupies. Nice on the surface, but ultimately want to usurp Cherry’s position as queen bee.
