To him, rotting in obscurity with the family flower shop sounded like a hell all its own... but the big city torture gig he’d once thought would save him proved to be just another dead-end. So when charming Marquess Oleander approached him with an offer — to travel the Circles, taste high society and all its riches, and maybe even see the surface someday! — he signed on the dotted line. Sure, he could play seductress for a crime ring; why not? It wasn’t the career he’d imagined, but what were a few broken laws and an infusion of succubus magic in exchange for the glamorous life he’d always wanted? ...Eight years and two betrayals later, he’s indeed found himself on the surface — and running from Hellish authorities on charges of opening a Rupture between Hell and earth (Vegas, to be exact). Whoops. Hopping from contract to contract under the alias Leslie Fox, only his wits, wiles, and sycophancy can save him now. ## History - On May 22, 1972, Ammolirion Price was born to Aloe and Haworth Price. The family lived in a small town on the far suburban outskirts of Morningstar, Pride, where they ran a flower shop. - WIP… ## Magic & Abilities ### Succubus Glamor *See: [I’m Exactly What You Need](https://devilverse.net/abilities#I%E2%80%99m+Exactly+What+You+Need)* As a succubus, Leslie has minor glamor abilities that allow him to better appeal to a particular target human’s desires. A target who knows Leslie will still recognize him under the effects of a glamor, but may suddenly find him more attractive, charming, or desirable (sexually or otherwise, depending on the target). The effect is subtle and generally not consciously perceptible unless attention is drawn to it. Leslie can either choose the glamor’s effects himself or attune to the target human’s desires as a guide. While he *can* target the desires of a devil or other non-human, it is not guaranteed to have a mechanical benefit. Possible changes under a glamor are mainly confined to those traits which influence human perception of beauty: shifts in height, weight, musculature, eye color, hair color or style, feminine or masculine presentation, and so on. Leslie can also otherwise make minor adjustments to his form on command, such as changing his sex or the size/shape of his horns and tail, but cannot significantly alter the structure of his body or change the fundamental nature of his form (ie. from succubus to human, angel, or non-succubus devil). He may be capable of making himself unrecognizable, but the magic would be difficult and unreliable. It would be theoretically possible to expand the scope of his shapeshifting with access to more powerful magical artifacts/rituals. ### Pride Magic *See: [Pride Before the Fall](https://devilverse.net/abilities#Pride+Before+the+Fall)* As a Prideborn devil, Leslie can attune to another person’s feelings of pride or shame. This useful but limited ability was the only magic he had before becoming a succubus. ## Appearance <figure class="float-right"> <img src="leslie_full.jpg" alt="Fullbody artwork of Leslie’s human form."> <figcaption>Human form.</figcaption> </figure> <figure class="float-right"> <img src="leslie_full_hellish.jpg" alt="Fullbody artwork of Leslie’s Hellish form."> <figcaption>Hellish form.</figcaption> </figure> Leslie has a willowy, androgynous build with pale freckled skin and ginger hair that falls in loose waves and covers his right eye. His eyes are narrow and sharp with white sclera, bright yellow irises, and slitted black pupils. He has a long half-arrowhead tail and a pair of gazelle-like horns, both slender and black. He has a piercing in the conch of each ear and on the tip of his tail; in each, he wears a dangling teardrop charm of green aventurine with a gold base. He also has an intricate womb tattoo which acts as the source of his artificial succubus magic. In **human form**, he has a dense patch of freckles on the bridge of his nose, loose shoulder-length hair, rounded humanoid ears and fingernails, and no fur, even on his tail. In **Hellish form**, he has sharp claws, longer horns, a longer tail with a fluffy base, large sloping deer-like ears, digitigrade legs with narrow rabbit-like paws, and waist-length hair tied into a jellyfish ponytail. He has ginger fur that covers his legs and extends over his ears, cheeks, the bridge of his nose, and the base of his tail; black fur around the edges of his ears and in a stocking-like pattern on his extremities; a patch of white fur over his hips, lower belly, inner thighs, and the underside of his tail; and a ruff of white fur around his neck. The ginger fur on his face is speckled white. His style of dress tends to be sharp and androgynous in shades of black, charcoal, and deep forest green. His metal of choice is gold and his leather color of choice is wine red. In masculine outfits, he favors loose button-up shirts, long trousers, and leather shoes with a low-to-mid-height heel and slight pointed toe. In feminine outfits, he favors low, fitted cuts, sleek fabrics, fur accents, and high heels. ## Relationships ### Jonny Asphodel <figure class="float-right"> <img src="rentboys_seduction.jpg" alt="Leslie seducing Jonny."> <figcaption>Leslie and Jonny.</figcaption> </figure> <img class="relationship-image" src="chibi_jonny.jpg" alt="Chibi Jonny"> Leslie’s current contractor. After a chance meeting in the halls of Solomon’s firm (an overworked devil secretary soon to lose his contract, an occultist on the brink of a messy divorce... can I make it any more obvious?), Jonny agreed to sponsor Leslie’s stay on the surface. All he asks in return is for Leslie to help pay rent on his now all-too-empty apartment. He’s also helping Leslie stay fed as a succubus, but that’s not a big deal or anything — he’s just helping a bro out. When Leslie first tumbled out onto the streets of Vegas, he needed protection; generous soul that he is, Solomon offered him that and more (A luxury suite! A lovely wardrobe!) in exchange for his services as a live-in secretary. Now that they’re unlikely coworkers at the diner, all Leslie wants is for Solomon to see him as an equal — but if Solomon really insists on his being nothing more than a timid bit of eye candy, he’s willing to get creative to make his ambition known. Like offering up 15 hours of contracted obedience in exchange for Solomon’s mentorship. ### Gloriosa Belle <img class="relationship-image" src="chibi_gloriosa.jpg" alt="Chibi Gloriosa"> Former solo act succubus thief, hired by Oleander to keep her out of his hair. He partnered her with Ammolirion in hopes his most adoring charge could keep an eye on the tricky and rebellious new girl, and they became the inseparable outlaw duo Tiger & Fox... that is, until her Fox sold her out to buy himself a ticket out of Hell. He doesn’t know what became of her after that, but he tries not to think too hard about it. ### Marquess Oleander Lovelace <img class="relationship-image" src="chibi_oleander.jpg" alt="Chibi Oleander"> The crime lord who took young Ammolirion under his wing. After years of dismissive parents and judgmental peers, it was a thrill to finally meet someone who understood what he wanted out of life — and who saw real potential in him! A man with money and connections and experience who could teach him how to use what he had to get what he wanted, like any proper devil ought. If only he’d remembered opportunism goes both ways... He won’t forget that again. ### Thatch <img class="relationship-image" src="chibi_thatch.jpg" alt="Chibi Thatch"> A demon member of Oleander’s crew who was excited to get hired up in Vegas. Leslie only knew him briefly; he was a lot smaller back then. A lot nicer, too. <div class="buffer-s"></div> ### Belladonna <img class="relationship-image" src="chibi_belladonna.jpg" alt="Chibi Belladonna"> Leslie’s friend and sole fellow succubus at the Satin Lounge. In exchange for a cut of Leslie’s pay as a dancer, she allows Leslie to encroach on her territory — and even sends clients his way! <div class="buffer-s"></div> ### Ricochet <img class="relationship-image" src="chibi_ricochet.jpg" alt="Chibi Ricochet"> Lenny’s gunslinger and Leslie’s now-recurring fling (when Lenny deigns to loosen his leash for a night, anyway). Thanks to a bit of glamor magic, Leslie seems to remind him of his beloved late partner who was killed by Morax. <div class="buffer-xs"></div> ### Sage Styx <img class="relationship-image" src="chibi_sage.jpg" alt="Chibi Sage"> Leslie’s first client in Marlowe, a sweet, reserved, and desperately touch-starved young Sloth devil. He’s not much for sex, but he’s happy to make out while they play video games on his couch. <div class="buffer-xs"></div> ### Nerine Hemlock <img class="relationship-image" src="chibi_nerine.jpg" alt="Chibi Nerine"> The queen bee of Leslie’s old high school — Ricky’s girlfriend and Sibyl’s best friend. She and Leslie never got along, even when their shared connection with Ricky forced them into begrudgingly regular proximity… but now, ten years later, they may be coming to understand each other better. <div class="buffer-xs"></div> ### Sibyl Hawthorne Leslie’s first girlfriend in high school. It didn’t last. She really liked him (she even asked him out first!), but he was never really into *her* so much as he was into her status — that glow of dating the girl all the other boys seemed to want. His never-ending well of excuses not to fuck her wasn’t lost on her, nor the humiliating way his attention always seemed to drift the moment nobody was watching. She was too embarrassed about the whole thing to ever get properly angry with him, even after breaking things off in tears; luckily for her, Nerine was happy to make hell for him on her behalf. ### Maverick “Ricky” North Leslie’s best friend in high school — or the closest thing he had to one, anyway — and his first crush. He’d always admired Ricky from afar, but it took a total social status overhaul to get Ricky to finally notice him back… or so he’s always believed. Now, he’s learned from Nerine that Ricky may have already liked him far longer than he’d known. ### Aloe & Haworth Price Leslie’s parents. They were perfectly sweet to him, but he never thought much of them. ## Trivia - He was named after the foxtail lily, his mother’s favorite flower. He’s ambivalent about them. - His favorite flowers are orchids.
